UK Guardian: Iran tested advanced nuclear warhead design – secret report

Read the entire article  here.  First two paragraphs:

The UN’s nuclear watchdog has asked Iran to explain evidence suggesting that Iranian scientists have experimented with an advanced nuclear warhead design, the Guardian has learned.

The very existence of the technology, known as a “two-point implosion” device, is officially secret in both the US and Britain, but according to previously unpublished documentation in a dossier compiled by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iranian scientists may have tested high-explosive components of the design. The development was today described by nuclear experts as “breathtaking” and has added urgency to the effort to find a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear crisis.

So Iran has managed to get ahold of advanced technology and has possibly done testing to develop nuclear weapons.  Well it begs the question, “who gave them the information?”  It also seems to prove again that Iran really has no interest in peaceful talks, but is fully intent on developing nuclear weapons and probably using them on Israel, as they have promised to do for years.

Anyone who still believes in diplomatic solutions is kidding themselves, especially when Senior Iranian lawmakers have now refused to ship most of  their uranium out of the country for further enrichment and conversion into fuel rods, which would be harder to convert to a nuclear bomb.  Any negotiations are just stall tactics to Iran buying them time to develop nuclear weapons.
