From AZ Central:
Police pulled about 20 to 30 people out of a suspected drophouse Monday night after a man claiming to have been held there escaped and called the authorities.
Phoenix Police Department spokesman James Holmes said the man was being held at a house in the 8500 block of West Cambridge Avenue before he ran to a Circle K store to call the police. He told police there were 40 to 50 people in the house with four armed smugglers.
Many people were seen lined up on the curb outside of the house, but police had not given out any additional information on the incident.
