From AZ Central:

Phoenix police detained five people and recovered a grenade, rifles and handguns from what police suspect was a drophouse near 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road in Phoenix.

Just after 2 p.m., dispatchers received a 911 call from a person who hung up after saying that the residents of an address on the 9600 block of West Kingman Street were being robbed, said Detective James Holmes, a spokesperson for Phoenix Police Department.

When officers arrived, the house was secured and quiet. While officers were waiting for backup, they heard noises from inside the home and then saw someone run out the back door. That person jumped over fences through the neighborhood, police said.

While police were dealing with that person, three more people ran out of the house and scattered into the neighborhood, he said.

All four were caught and detained for questioning. As police searched for possible victims, they found handguns, shotguns, rifles and what appeared to be a hand grenade, Holmes said.
