A sampling of news stories related to illegal immigrants and illegal immigration:

  • Border Patrol in California went on a 100 mile chase before apprehending a Mexican driver and six passengers in a SUV.
  • An illegal immigrant in Washington, accused of raping a woman , had been deported NINE times and had a long list of run-ins with the law before this attack.
  • Snopes has verified as “true” the trashing of the desert by illegal immigrants coming across the border and dumping backpacks and trash of all kinds on their journey north farther into the U.S.   Where is the outrage from the environmental left?
  • Channel 2, in Atlanta has a revealing two-part story on border security and the fact that some of those caught entering illegally are from countries NOT friendly to the U.S.  Make sure to watch both parts. This story only serves to reaffirm that border security must be a top priority and does NOT have to be accompanied by “immigration reform.”  We can commit to securing the borders first and then figuring out what to do about the millions of illegals presently residing in the U.S.
  • Latino religious leaders rallied in Denver to threaten Republicans of political backlash if laws such as Arizona’s SB 1070 continues to be supported by the GOP.
  • A  34-year old mexican man has been sentenced to eight  years in prison for re-entering the U.S. illegally after two previous deportations.  He has prior convictions for attempted burglary, drugs and re-entry into the country after deportation.
