A sampling of news stories and commentary related to illegal immigrants and illegal immigration:

  • Well rumors have been floating around the internet for the past few days about a possible amnesty for illegal immigrants here in the U.S. by a Presidential Executive Order.  Appalling as it seems, efforts to do just that could be underway.  Michelle Malkin reminds us that special efforts by Congress and sitting presidents to grant illegals amnesty have happened before.
  • An illegal immigrant with a police record including theft and second-degree robbery received a 7 year sentence in prison today after being convicted of illegal re-entry after prior removal.  The man had been deported on at least five different occasions.
  • While we’ve seen a number of California cities issue their own boycotts against Arizona for its passage of the anti-illegal immigration law, SB-1070, it seems the state of California itself may be considering a boycott against its neighbor.
