If you’re not aware of the site yet, opensecrets.org is a great resource for information on where from and to whom money flows in the world of politics.  A few days ago they posted a piece on who’s been raking in the lobbyists’ money for this November’s elections.    Here’s their list of the top seven Senate and House recipients:

Senate (contributions all the way back to 2005 are counted because that is when the Senators’ terms started along with their fundraising for their next campaign happening this November):

  1. Harry Reid (D-Nev.)- $998,054
  2. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) – $665,950

  4. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) – $467,991
