News and commentary not to be missed:
- From USA Today: Soldier says ordered to delete Fort Hood video — In case you’re not aware, the trial of the “Fort Hood Shooter” Major Nidal Hasan has gotten underway. Testimony yesterday included a solder who said he was ordered by an officer to delete the footage he had taken on his cellphone during the shooting, possibly destroying vital evidence.
- From the Washington Examiner Opinion section:
Another Democrat behaves badly:
Daily Caller: No complaints filed against Michelle Obama
Charlie Cook of The Cook Report: House Flips. Senate Doesn’t. He does predict a 7-8 seat pickup in the Senate for the Republicans.
Politics Daily: Elections Officials Sued for Mailing Late Overseas Absentee Ballots Three states, New York, New Mexico, and Nevada have missed the deadline for sending out ballots to troops overseas. A possibly disenfranchising of the very people who should ALWAYS have their votes counted. The people who are on the front lines, risking it all for their country. Also being investigated is Illinois. More shining examples of government incompetence.
